2018 Lincoln MKC Review, Price, Release Date
2018 Lincoln MKC is a good SUV as it provides smooth rides and comes with various techy features. The technology used in this car is easy to use however there are issues with the fuel economy of the car. The base front-drive MKCs are equipped with 2.0-liter turbo four gains Eco boost all-terrain drive wheel. It has a feature like the auto hold that can hold the car when it is stopped. Overall it provides a quiet cabin, decent rear seat, easy access and infotainment that is simply awesome.
The engine of the MKC is supportive enough for letting one drive through busy roads with its optional 2.3-liter engine. However, at higher speed, it is expected more from an upgraded engine like MKC has. For urban life, the MKC handling is good enough. In order to hit 60mph the 2.3 liter Eco Boost four-cylinder engine needs 7.2 seconds although it has 285 hp. Handling of brakes should be done with caution as at the beginning the pedals may be oddly touchy. To handle this car the driver needs to be careful and make sure that they take care of the car.
The MKC is available in four different trims, namely, Premiere, Select, Reserve, and Black. Even the base model offers features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen for infotainment that are Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible, power adjustable heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, remote start, keyless ignition, and blind-spot monitors.
The exterior features are also noteworthy with automatic xenon headlights, 18-inch wheels, heated mirrors, a power liftgate, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. The higher the trim level there are better features. Still, the features that are available in the base model is also good enough.
Many suggest that it does not have attractive features like those of other SUVs. Still, the interior has features that are bound to attract. It has Sync 3 that offers a brightly rendered touchscreen along with user-friendly buttons to respond quickly. Getting in and out of the car is easy, thanks to the “hip Point.” It has enough headroom but there is lacking in legroom. Other features like the driver seat and windows are at a level not to mention any specific difference.
